If you've been paying attention (we hope you have!) you'll know we launched our Model Search 2012 Competition this week. We've had such a brilliant response with 35 entries so far!

The competition is open to everyone. You don’t have to be a certain size, height, have a certain look or be a professional model to enter. We want to see girls of all shapes and sizes, with warm personalities and a sense of fun!

Dollydagger Model Search 2012

We are so blown away by the number of entries we have received we had decided to increase the number of finalists chosen by you to 8, if we reach 100 entries.

So 8 finalists will win £50 to spend on Dollydagger brand clothing and accessories!

The overall winner will be chosen by the Dollydagger panel and will win a 12 month modelling contract with Dollydagger, an outfit worth up to £200 from each and every shoot she takes part in plus 5 photographs for her modelling portfolio. For further details read the full post below!

Do you think you've got what it takes to model for Dollydagger?

Would you like to model for us for 12 months and win a beautiful outfit worth up to £200 for each and every shoot you take part in plus have some lovely photos to show your friends and family? 

We're looking for a girl with her own sense of style and personality. You don't have to be a size 8, 6ft. tall, or have a particular look; just comfortable with who you are and not afraid of the camera!

The competition is open for entries from 1st October 2012 and closes on 28th October 2012.

Votes are collected in the form of Facebook 'likes'. Entries will be uploaded to our Facebook gallery as soon as they have been approved, so the sooner you enter the longer you have to get votes. Each 'like' counts as one vote and the 5 entries with the most likes will be our lucky finalists, who will each win £50 to spend on Dollydagger label clothing and accessories.

The overall winner will be chosen by a panel of judges, which includes Emma Ayres (aka Dolly), owner and Managing Director of Dollydagger and Simon Flamson our Brighton Boutique Manager.

The lucky winner gets to model for us for a period of 12 months and will win an outfit worth up to £200 for each and every shoot she takes part in. The winner will also receive 5 photographs, for personal use or for use in their portfolio. Travel and expenses are paid and we'll make sure you're fed!

Summer Sale!!!

It seems that summer hasn't even started and already the high street is full of sales! Am I the only person who still wants to buy summer clothes?! I think not!

So, we've started our summer sale a little earlier than usual, with mark downs on end of line items and those things that we won't be getting again, such as the old style Scarlet dress in pink rose and taffeta paloma dresses so grab them while you can!

Dollydagger Tiki Window Competition

 

Well we're not quite sure what has happened to Summer, but we do know the best way to brighten up your day is with one of our fabulous Waikiki Flamingo print dresses and if you're lucky enough to live in Brighton or have visited us recently you'll have seen our awesome window display which we pulled together with a little help from our friend Trader Tark.

To celebrate this amazing feat (those Tiki heads are seriously heavy!) we're giving away the contents of our window; well the Dollydagger bits, they're easy to ship and don't weigh a tonne!

Dollydagger Jubilee Competition!

We hope you're all gearing up for a weekend of fun! I can still remember making hats for the Silver Jubilee; I made a rather nice crown out of silver card and purple velvet and my baby brother had a giant union jack top hat. My mum was rather good at making things. Sadly I didn't win, but my brother did!

Sales Starts Today!

Afternoon!

We hope you're all well into the festive spirit by now!

We'll be taking a well earned rest and enjoying the festivities on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

There's not much to say, except to let you know that our end of season sale starts today and there are many bargains to be had! We'll be adding new things to the sale every week from now, throughout January as well as some lovely new things to look forward to.
