One blustery dull January day, I had the pleasure to accompany up-and-coming Brighton band Telegraphs on their video shoot for new single ‘I Don’t Navigate By You’. Shot at an exhausting double speed and in 4 different locations, each shot was meticulously set up to so that each scene zooms cleverly in and out of a picture frame.
As well as documenting the many location changes and general
goings’ on, I had the special task of dressing bassist Hattie Williams. After
picking out some signature Dollydagger dresses, Hattie ended up with a mixture
of looks; sometimes going for all-out glamour with our 50’s Satin Sweetheart
Swing dress, or opting for a more ‘rock’ look by pairing a tight pin-up dress
with converse and ‘bed hair’.
