New In - Bettie Page Dresses and Beautiful Gifts from Wu and Wu

Afternoon lovelies!

Christmas is just around the corner and our giftware and party dresses are starting to arrive. We also started work on our shop windows yesterday (they're looking very glamorous!) so we'll post some pictures of those when they're finished!

New in this week is the Drama Queen dress from Bettie Page and some absolutely beautiful things from Wu and Wu, including our new favourite thing, the Deer Calendar (I have already taken one home!).

We have lots coming in next week too, including more from Bettie Page and a new take on our satin swing dresses, just in time for Christmas party season, so watch this space!

New In - Irregular Choice Shoes!

Hello!

We have so much news this week! First of all we have launched our brand new Brighton Guide.We'll be picking what we think are the best bits of Brighton and Hove, will be listing what you need to help plan your stay and hopefully be introducing you to things that you might not stumble across unless you live here. There will be reviews and articles added every week until it's absolutely brimming with useful facts, hints and tips and the occasional well kept secret!

The Dollydagger & Friends Easter Egg Hunt in Brighton!

We are very excited to announce a very special competition which we'll be running from 8th April to 8th May. It's the Dollydagger & Friends Easter Egg Hunt! Forget Easter egg hunts where the prize is merely a chocolate egg. The Dollydagger and Friends Easter Egg Hunt has got £2,000 worth of prizes up for grabs! All you need to do is go hunting around The Lanes in Brighton for Easter eggs – or Easter egg stickers, to be precise.

Here's how it works:

To enter, simply collect your map and your first easter egg sticker from one of the following particpating retailers:

Dollydagger Competition Winners!

As many of you know, we run regular competitions from month to month so we've decided to dedicate a post to our lovely winners. We thought it would be nice to show you a few photos of them enjoying their prizes!

This is Laura Norrey who was the lucky winner of a Dollydagger Make-over and Photoshoot, PLUS a two night stay at the Hotel Pelirocco in October. Laura came down with her new husband and spent a day being pampered by our super talented make-up artist Annelie Bystrom-Turner and vintage hair genius (that is his official title) Simon Webster. Here are the results; we think you'll agree she looks rather beautiful :)

This is the lovely Emily Richards who won her very own VIP Shopping Evening at our new Brighton Boutique. This was an extra special prize because it was the very first VIP shopping experience we've held, and it was a huge success! Emily came with some of her friends and family and they all tried on lots of our frocks, each had a 50's make-over (courtesy of Annelie) and drank champagne and ate mince pies whilst shopping. Everyone had a great time, including us! :o)

 

Christmas Events at Dollydagger Boutique Brighton

We're getting into the Christmas spirit at the Dollydagger Brighton Boutique with a series of events starting this Wednesday  when we'll be hosting our first VIP party whoop!

Throughout November and December, you'll have the chance to win prizes including designer jewellery, jive lessons and VIP parties for you and your friends. New In & Sample Sale Next Wednesday!

Hello Lovelies!

This week we've had a delivery from Irregular Choice, we always get very excited when this happens! We've got some new bags for you, including a fab Patty Laptop Bag which matches our amazing Patty Shoes, a super cute Future Ladybug Bag and a Pot Bunny Laptop Bag and matching Shopper! Well a girl can never have too many bags...

Also new in this week are some Scarlet Dresses in new fabrics. Those of you who have already visited our Brighton Boutique will have had a sneak preview, but now they're all available to buy online too! In addition to the rose print Scarlet dresses we now sell royal blue, navy and black gingham, as well as a fab mini floral print!

Having outgrown our current office we're in the process of moving to a new swanky pad, exciting! We thought it was time for a little clear out so we've decided to hold our first ever sample sale!

We've been accumulating samples for nearly 5 years and we have a lot of frocks and accessories that never made it onto the website or at least haven't yet! We may have experimented with fabrics or trims, until we settled on our final design, but all the samples are made well and fit as they should. The sample sale is being held at our new Brighton Boutique between 6-9pm on Wednesday 27th October and everyone is invited. July's Competition Winner and our New August Competitions!

As many of you already know, In September we're opening our very first shop in Brighton and we can't wait! We're holding two different competitions throughout August revolving around this exciting news!

Competition 1

To celebrate our new shop opening we're giving away an exclusive VIP Shopping Party for one lucky winner and up to 9 of their friends. This will be the first ever event in our new shop.

We want to spread the word about our shop to as many people as possible, so we're tying this competition in with the number of new fans or 'likes' we get on our Dollydagger Facebook Page during August.

If we get to 8,500 fans or page 'likes' the lucky winner can invite 4 of their friends, if we get to 9,500 fans the lucky winner can invite 5 of their friends and for each additional 500 friends on top of that the lucky winner can invite 1 more person, up to a maximum of 9. So we need 8,500 fans by the end of August to reach our first target for the prize to be activated, so what are you waiting for......spread the word!
